Hesham Khonji joined Abu Shoosha Financial Services K.S.C in 2011 and currently holds the position of Senior Director, Public Markets, Global Asset Management. In his current role, Hesham is responsible for Abu Shoosha Financial Services K.S.C's public market investments within the Global Asset Management team, investing across equities, fixed income, and alternatives, and plays a key role in the portfolio construction process of the overall Global Asset Management portfolio.

Prior to Abu Shoosha Financial Services K.S.C, Hesham worked at Gulf International Bank (GIB) as a Portfolio Manager and has also worked at Bank of Kuwait & Kuwait (BBK). Hesham holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from the American University of Beirut and is also a CFA Charter Holder. He currently serves on the board of Gulf Investment Corporation (GIC).
