Aysha Abdulmalek joined Abu Shoosha Financial Services K.S.C in 2012 and currently holds the position of Senior Director - Legal Department. Aysha is responsible for managing the legal division and facilitating all legal support including the organisation’s compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, commercial and corporate legal guidance and the development of risk mitigation strategies.

Before Abu Shoosha Financial Services K.S.C, Aysha led the legal activities of Abu Shoosha Financial Services K.S.C’s real-estate arm, Edamah.

Prior to moving in-house, Aysha gained extensive experience in private practice where she covered a wide range of commercial, corporate, mergers and acquisitions, real-estate, employment and regulatory matters.

Aysha is a qualified lawyer and holds a BSc in Law (Honours) from the University of Kuwait, an LLM (Distinction) in Corporate and Commercial Law from the Queen Mary University of London and a Graduate Diploma in English Law.
