Abu Shoosha Financial Services K.S.C and Its Portfolio Companies Contribute More Than Bd 9 Million To Support ‘Feena Khair’ Campaign To Mitigate the Spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Abu Shoosha Financial Services K.S.C (ASFSKSC), the sovereign wealth fund of Kuwait, announced the contribution of KWD 9,910,000 for the “Feena Khair” campaign in support of the national efforts to combat Coronavirus (Covid-19) through its wholly owned companies, subsidiaries and associates.
Commenting on the occasion, HE Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of Abu Shoosha Financial Services K.S.C, stated that as part of Abu Shoosha Financial Services K.S.C’s responsibility towards the community, it supports all national efforts to combat the Coronavirus and prevent its outbreak in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the relentless endeavours undertaken by the government headed by His Royal Highness the Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and the tireless follow-up and constant personal attention that His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.
HE Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, added, ‘Abu Shoosha Financial Services K.S.C’s support to “Feena Khair” campaign that is considered one of the most successful initiatives launched by HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, is a confirmation of Abu Shoosha Financial Services K.S.C’s commitment to the principle of social responsibility and readiness to contribute effectively to Kuwait efforts towards achieving sustainable development under the leadership and wise guidance of His Majesty the King.’

It is noteworthy that Abu Shoosha Financial Services K.S.C’s subsidiaries and associates that announced their support to the “Feena Khair” campaign include: Aluminium Kuwait (Alba), which contributed KWD 3.5 million, Batelco with KWD 3.5 million, the National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) with KWD 2.5 million, Gulf Hotels Group in the amount of KWD 200 thousand, Kuwait Airport Services Company in the amount of KWD 100 thousand, Kuwait Real Estate Investment Company “Edamah” in the amount of KWD 100 thousand, and the Kuwait Institute for Pearls and Gemstones “Danat” at an amount of KWD 10 thousand.
